Ravindra Jadeja has reached a significant milestone in the Indian Premier League, surpassing 3,000 runs in the premier T20 competition.
The star all-rounder achieved this feat with his 24th run during match 8 of the IPL 2025 season against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Chepauk. Jadeja finished with 25 runs from 19 balls, but despite his efforts, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fell short in their chase, posting 146/8 against RCB’s 196/7.
Ravindra Jadeja has achieved a remarkable milestone, reaching 3,000 runs in the Indian Premier League. In his knock of 25 runs, which included two fours and a six, Jadeja has now accumulated 3,001 IPL runs at an average of 27.28 from 242 matches (186 innings), with a strike rate of 129.52.
As per Cricbuzz, Jadeja becomes the first player in IPL history to surpass 3,000 runs and 100 wickets. In addition to his batting achievements, he has taken 160 wickets, further cementing his status as one of the IPL’s greatest all-rounders.
Jadeja Closing in on 2,000 IPL Runs for CSK
Ravindra Jadeja is fast approaching 2,000 IPL runs for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), with 1,939 runs to his name from 174 matches (127 innings) at an average of 27.70. His strike rate exceeds 135, and he has hit 74 sixes and 139 fours during his IPL career for CSK.
RCB Breaks Fortress Chepauk
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) secured their first-ever win at Chepauk since 2008, breaking CSK’s stronghold at the venue. RCB’s victory by 50 runs marked their only win in nine previous attempts at Chepauk, with their last win coming in the inaugural IPL season.
